An Introduction to Keeping Pigs

Saturday 4^th September (10.30am-3pm)
In the Holybourne / Alton area. Other areas on request & if there is enough demand

Hands on experience as well as information about welfare, DEFRA requirements, feeding, housing, fencing and breeding and of course the ideal time to put your pig into the freezer.
Get hands on experience with some real pigs including training and other routine stock tasks.
Specific activities for children if required.
Tea & coffee provided on all courses. Lunch provided on full day courses.
Full day course: £60 adult; £30 Under 18s. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday 9^th October (10.30am-3pm)
Holybourne, Alton, Hampshire

Hands on experience as well as information about welfare, DEFRA requirements, feeding, housing, fencing and breeding.
Children are encouraged to join in - specific Poultry Keeping activities will be provided.
Tea, coffee & lunch provided.
Full day course: £60 adult; £30 Under 18s. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
