Our agreement
(The boring but important bit for a visit from us!)
You will provide:- a tap for obtaining cold water
- a class teacher to maintain discipline in each class (for school visits)
- an adult to maintain discipline (birthday parties etc)
- details of special needs or contact allergies
- a minimum area 10m x 5m, away from vehicle activity
- hand washing facilities
- ensure cats and dogs have no access to the designated area
- confirm there is no livestock (cows, sheep, goats or pigs) present on the designated area
- a qualified teacher (CRB checked) plus one other adult (educational visits)
- two qualified adults (CRB checked) (social visits)
- curriculum linked sessions
- follow up class based materials if required
- appropriate risk assessment

- £10 million public liability insurance
- a selection of animals (subject to availability and DEFRA regulations):
- Small pigs (or piglets if available)
- Sheep (or lambs if available)
- Chickens and/or turkeys
- Chicks - could be chicken or turkey chicks
- Rabbits
- Guinea pigs
- Goats
- Ducks
- Dog - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
- all necessary DEFRA paperwork (movement licences)
- all fencing, animal equipment and feed
- large gazebo in the event of wet weather
- removal of any animal related waste
We are also Book Representatives for Usborne Publishing and will bring a selection of farming related books which can be displayed at your event.
